How is ArmorVPN and better than using a program on my phone/tablet/computer?
ArmorVPN uses the same technology, but because it can work via Wi-Fi or can be plugged in between your router and modem, it will protect every device you use, as opposed to downloading an app on every device.

What provider will you be bundling with? (updated question)
Currently, there is a bundle with Torguard for anyone who has ArmorVPN, but again, any provider should work. For the lifetime VPN bundle, the partner is PureVPN.

Will this work with any VPN service? (updated question)
Yes! There is a deal that I have made with TorGuard for $45 per year, OR you can use nearly any service on the market. You can also use TOR, which is just as effective, and free.
I say nearly any service simply because there may be one or two out there that are not compatible, but any service that uses OpenVPN or OpenConnect as a standard should have no trouble at all. This is not an exhaustive list, by any means, but these services use one or both of those standards: ExpressVPN, TorGuard, NordVPN, Windscribe, PureVPN, Private Internet Access, HideMyAss, StrongVPN, Ivacy, SaferVPN, VPN Area, OverPlay, Anonymizer, BolehVPN, VyprVPN, ibVPN, SwitchVPN, CyberGhost, Hide.me, Privatoria, CactusVPN, IPVanish and VPN Unlimited
If your service is not listed, THAT DOES NOT MEAN IT ISN’T COMPATIBLE, I will happily try to find out, just message or comment.

Does ArmorVPN have a killswitch, ie, a way to stop all internet access if the VPN fails?
Yes it does, it can easily be switched on or off via the settings menu, either while connected or disconnected.

What sets ArmorVPN apart from similar devices?
ArmorVPN shares several features with other devices, including:
Adblocking TOR access Gigabit Ethernet Automatic updates Open source
However there are a few things ArmorVPN brings as well, that the other guys don’t have:
Touchscreen Choice of VPN service Lifetime VPN offering MAC filtering MAC address randomization Killswitch Optional external antennas NFC A firewall Simultaneous TOR and VPN use
The touchscreen does make it considerably easier to see what’s going on and make changes, without having to exit your YouTube video or browser to use an app to change settings. Yes, there is an app option, but the screen ensures that no matter what you can control what’s going on with your device.
ArmorVPN offers a choice of VPN service. If the service you use goes down, you find that it has security flaws, or you just find a better deal, you can switch, with no obligations.
An option to pay once and use your VPN for life is also available, so no monthly/quarterly fees to keep up with.
MAC filtering is very useful for a number of situations: you may have only one or two devices you want on the VPN, a web page that can only be accessed from your IP address, etc. You have total control over what devices use and don’t use the VPN.
MAC randomization lets you further change who you appear to be on the internet, any MAC address can be looked up to find out the manufacturer (http://macvendors.com/ is a commonly used page).
The optional killswitch setting immediately disconnects all devices (or those using the MAC filter to use the VPN) if the VPN fails. This means that, should something happen, all browsing halts. Without this feature, it’s very likely that your device would simply continue to let you use the internet, unaware that your VPN has disconnected.
Detachable external antennas will be added to the final product, allowing increased range.
The option to turn on/off NFC gives you the ability to easily connect to ArmorVPNs WiFi without having to put in a password, or giving your friend/family member/etc your password.
By popular demand, a firewall feature has been implemented to further control what devices and services are accessible or visible on your network, be it at home or on the go.
Using TOR and VPN side by side, along with the MAC filtering, allows you to use different features, or have some devices appear to be located in one country/area (on TOR), others in another area (using VPN), and still others show up where you actually are (using open internet).

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
